this month really flew by, didn’t it? Maybe that was just my experience, but I can’t believe that we’re already moving into the last weekend of May.

I struggled quite a bit this month with figuring out how this novel was going to go. I had this whole idea that this novel was a flirtation to enemies to lovers, but the more I worked on it, the less that felt true. It was hard to give that up and I felt like I kept trying to force the novel to fit into a box that it just wasn’t made for.

Finally, though, I snapped, and after a day and a half of free writing…

I keep staring at that bit of window I missed in photoshop. Maybe I shouldn’t be highlighting it by talking about it but I keep staring at it.
